Students know a lot about what's going on in their schools: who is mean to others, who is nice to others, and who is being bullied.

That's because students are part of social networks. The picture below shows what a social network is:

Everybody is connected and knows something about the other people. Who are the people in your social network? What do you know about them?

Teachers often don't know who is mean to others, who is nice to others, and who is being bullied.

Teachers and school staff want students to be safe. But if they don't know what's going on, they can't help.

Students need to let teachers and school staff know what's going on so that they can help.

To keep everyone as safe as possible, it's important for you to let adults in your school know what's going on so that they can help fix little problems before they become big problems.
